Nitrogen fixation is considered the second most important bio-chemical reaction known to man. Only Photosynthesis rates as more important. Life as we know it would cease without either of them. The process requires the presence of bacteria to produce chemicals that allow root hairs to take in nitrogen. These bacteria are normally put into the soil by Nature, but extended use of harsh chemical fertilizers with muriate of potash has considerably reduced their numbers.
SOIL BACTERIA is a complete replacement bacteria package. Along with Rhizobium and Azotobacter, it also contains bacteria strains that produce enzymes for breaking down organic materials in the soil into useful forms. For this reason, it works well in helping to reduce thatch and composting residue. Because it is so effective in improving nitrogen uptake, fertilization can often be significantly reduced.
1 lb treats up to 10 acres. Simply mix into water in the tank and spray.
