Fish Emulsion has been used as a fertilizers for thousands of years, dating back to the Nile Delta in ancient times. Not only is it a complete source of all the vital nutrients needed by plants, it actually enables plants to process atmospheric Nitrogen at its full 78% for growth and development. What that means to the grower is that plants receive a complete growth and development regimen with a single product. Moreover, the energy imparted to the plant is so high that insects and disease become things of the past.

Our “Nature’s Fish Emulsion” is a true emulsion, not an oil, derived from the complete liquefied fish. We use the best fish available for the job, North Atlantic Menhaden. Best applied on outdoor plants because of its fishy odor, it can be both foliar and soil applied. Can’t be beat as an all-purpose plant nutrient for plants of all kinds.

APPLICATION RATES:

FOLIAR APPLICATIONS

Mix 1 tablespoon per quart or 1 – 2 oz per gallon of water. Using a fine spray or mister, moisten both sides of leaves to the point of runoff. Apply every 10 days to 2 weeks in early morning or after mid-day heat has dropped 10 degrees. Add a few drops of wetting agent or dish soap per qt to decrease droplet size, and help spray cover and stick to leaves. Liquid aerify can be used for this purpose too.

SOIL APPLICATIONS

General mixing rate is 1-2 oz per gallon of water for outdoor use on hardy plants.

House Plants/Potted Plants: 1 Teaspoon per quart of water, or 1 Tablespoons per gallon of water. Use 1 cup of this mix for every foot of plant height every 2 weeks. Water into the soil afterwards if there are odor issues.

Annuals, Vegetables, New Perennials: 1 oz per gallon of water to cover up to 25 sf. Apply every 2-4 weeks. Water in afterwards.

Established Perennials, Roses, Shrubs: 1 1/2 oz (3 tablespoons) per gallon of water to cover up to 25 sf. Or use 1 -2 cups for each foot of plant height, depending on plant width. Apply where feeder roots are located, every 3-4 weeks.

Trees and Lawns: 12 oz per 1000 sf or 1 Quart per 3000 sf every 3-5 weeks or as needed. If using a hose-end sprayer, dilute product beforehand with 2/3 water, to prevent clogging. For pump sprayers use up to 4 oz per gallon of water.

AGRICULTURAL

Soil Treatments: Apply up to 4 gallons per acre. Split the application between pre-plant and side dress.

Foliar Treatments: 1-2 Quarts per acre every 2 weeks prior to bloom and at least once after bud set.

CAUTION: This product contains 5% Nitrogen. Nitrogen products are capable of burning plant leaves if over applied or applied in severely hot weather.
