Zenith Insecticide is labeled for foliar and systemic insect control in turfgrass (including sod farms), landscape ornamentals, fruit and nut trees and interior plantscapes.
Zenith 75 WSP is a broad-spectrum systemic insecticide that controls insects by both contact and ingestion. It can be applied as a foliar spray, soil broadcast spray, soil injection or soil drench.
Zenith 75 WSP is systemic and soil applications are taken into the roots and move upward throughout the plant. Foliar applications are absorbed into the leaves but are less effective than root absorption. The root absorption method also increases the residual effect of the product.
Zenith 75 WP insecticide controls both sucking and chewing insect pests. It can also be used as a drench application without specialized equipment for long term control of the same pests in landscape shrubs and trees of any height. Zenith excels as a turf treatment for aphids and grubs. Zenith controls Aphids, Bristly Rose Slug, Japanese Beetles, Rose Leaf Hoppers, Scale, Thrips and Whiteflies.
It may be applied as a foliar spray, soil broadcast spray, soil injection or a soil drench. Imidacloprid is systemic and soil applications will be taken up by the roots and transition upward into the plant and foliage. Foliar applications are absorbed into the leaves but is not as efficient as root absorption. Application rate is .66 (20 ml) ounces per 1000 square feet.
